CloudStone Education are recruiting for a vibrant and diverse Secondary School located in the heart of Southwark, London. Committed to providing an enriching educational experience for students, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Bursar to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial administration of the school, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting


• Oversee payroll processing and pension schemes


• Procurement and management of school resources and contracts


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices


• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies to support the school's objectives


• Provide support and guidance to staff on financial matters

Requirements:

• Previous experience in financial management, preferably within an educational setting


• Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team


• Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are desirable
