If you have expertise in international transport, import, export, UK VAT rules, UK customs procedures, airline and ocean shipping charges, and fine art packing and crating techniques, then this opportunity is perfect for you!Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement efficient transportation and logistics strategies to optimise the movement of goods globallyManage the import and export process, ensuring compliance with UK VAT rules and UK customs proceduresCoordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to negotiate favourable contracts and secure competitive shipping ratesEnsure accurate documentation and timely customs clearance for international shipmentsOversee fine art packing and crating, ensuring the safe transportation of valuable artworkMonitor shipping schedules and resolve any issues to minimise delays and prevent disruptions in the supply chainCollaborate with internal departments, such as sales and operations, to align logistics requirements with customer demandsSkills and Qualifications:Extensive experience in international logistics, including air and sea shipping proceduresStrong knowledge of UK VAT rules and UK customs proceduresProven ability to manage complex logistics operations with meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication and negotiation skills to build collaborative relationships with various stakeholdersProficient in using logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing inventoryFamiliarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirementsAdept at analysing data and generating insightful reports to drive operational improvementsContract Type: PermanentYearly Salary: up to £50k (depending on experience)Working Pattern: Full TimePerks:Pension contribution matching to help you secure a stable futureParking facilities for hassle-free commuting
