UK Startup Jobs
We’re reimagining how people discover and buy through social-first experiences, and we’re looking for a Product Designer (UX/UI) to help shape every touchpoint of that journey. This is a big-impact role where you’ll work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to design fun, useful, intuitive, and high-performing experiences for our shoppers, sharers and brands. You’ll be taking and turning our business goals into functional and visually compelling designs that have the wow factor. You’ll also be in the driving seat for the design vision and strategy for our digital products and crafting user-centric experiences that boost engagement and conversion. The pace here is well, pretty pacey - as with all start-ups, we need someone comfortable and confident with moving at speed and change (a real shape shifter). Things you’ll be responsible for-

Lead end-to-end design processes, from user research and wire-framing to prototyping and final delivery.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs, business objectives, and social eCommerce best practices.

Create seamless, high-quality user experiences for web and mobile platforms that drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Partner with stakeholders to analyse user feedback and data, iterating on designs to improve performance and usability. Things you need to have to be the best person for the job-

5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on eCommerce and social.

A sharp eye for detail - meticulously thinking through the user journey and experience and making sure we delight at each step.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.

A portfolio showcasing expertise in crafting user-friendly interfaces and solving complex UX challenges in eCommerce.

Strong understanding of usability principles, user research, and data-driven design.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance user needs with business goals. You can clearly articulate your design decisions to team.

Curious, creative, and user-obsessed — you think beyond the obvious to create experiences that stick. Surprise and delight.

Startup experience or strong experience that shows you’re comfortable and confident with moving at speed and okay with change.

Self confessed organisatation’aholic (yep that’s a real word) - you love a plan which allows you to create magic at speed Bonus points (but not a deal breaker)-

Worked as the only product designer of a product at some point (we’re all on the tools here) About us- Hello, we are i love it - a platform where you can shop, share, and earn from the things you love. We believe that the people who genuinely love a product or brand will be its best ever salespeople - not an influencer chasing likes or paid brand deals (#ad #sponcon).

Instead, i love it is powered by AI, but founded on the kind of genuine recommendations that passion alone generates. The result- everyone wins - the shopper, the sharer and the planet. We’re in full start up mode so anyone joining our small but ambitious business has an opportunity to make a huge impact and be part of building something super special.
