Please note that this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, a military role, or equivalent private sector experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
  • High ethical standards with proven ability to work on highly confidential and sensitive information, and excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and people skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and decision making skills.

About The Job

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Escalate support for GSOC Vendor Operators.
  • Escalate support to the network of Global Security Service Centers.
  • Collect, evaluate, escalate, and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihood - GSOC Watch Officer Remit.
  • Provide intelligence support to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in incident response, crisis management, and global travel management.
  • Work on GSOC incident report writing creation in line with existing GSOC process (higher risk incidents).
