A Client based in South London is currently seeking a Temporary Housing Manager, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
The successful candidate will serve as the face of the estate, taking responsibility for daily operations, resident engagement, and all aspects of housing management. They will act as the main point of contact for residents and contractors, and report directly to the TMO's Management Committee.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing tenancy matters, anti-social behaviour cases, rent accounts, and estate management issues.
- Supervising staff (if applicable), contractors, and ensuring a high-quality, resident-focused service.
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance, managing cleaning standards, and supporting estate improvement projects.
- Handling financial processes including rent collection oversight and contractor payments.
- Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, health & safety regulations, and the TMO's Management Agreement.
This role would suit someone with:
- Strong experience in social housing or estate operations.
- A confident, calm, and professional approach to community engagement.
- A solid understanding of housing systems, tenancy management, and basic financial controls.
Additional Details:
- Location: Estate-based 5 days a week in South London
- Contract: Temporary (6 months), with potential to go permanent
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
