Key Responsibilities:

As the Junior QS, your role will include:

• Reporting to Senior Commercial Manager, prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour and overheads.

• Monitor projects expenditures and implement measures to ensure financial efficiency.

• Prepare, evaluate tender documents and assist in the tendering process.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and sub-contractors to ensure accurate pricing and budgeting.

• Manage the procurement process for subcontractors, materials, and services.
• Assess suppliers and ensure that all procurements are cost-effective and delivered on time.

Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

• Experienced in Quantity Surveying within construction.

• Excellent analytical skills, prominent level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of quantity surveying and reporting.

• Strong understanding of construction methods.

• Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software and tools including Microsoft products.

• Excellent negotiation, problem solving, and strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
