Position Summary
As a Senior Solution Consultant in EMEA, you’ll be a key player in shaping data-driven strategies partnering closely with the Sales team to design and deliver impactful solutions with Domo’s AI & Data Products Platform. You’ll help prospects and clients understand how Domo’s platform can solve real-world business problems, eliminate technical roadblocks, and create measurable value.
This role requires deep familiarity with modern data ecosystems. You'll leverage cloud data warehouses (CDWs) such as Snowflake, Databricks, and others to architect robust, scalable solutions. You’ll help customers harness the power of AI and large language models (LLMs)—including Domo’s Agent Catalyst framework—to build intelligent agents and automated workflows that accelerate decision-making and innovation.
Our Solution Consultants serve as a trusted advisor and product expert, able to navigate both technical and business conversations from the front lines to the C-suite. You’ll independently drive all aspects of the pre-sales cycle, from discovery to solutioning, and act as a thought leader among your peers—sharing best practices, crafting strategic messaging, and continuously adopting emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct insightful discovery sessions to deeply understand customer goals, data environments, and technical challenges, positioning Domo as a differentiated solution that integrates seamlessly with modern cloud data platforms;
- Design and deliver tailored demos and strategic presentations that showcase business value—leveraging capabilities such as data ingestion, ETL, data modeling, and rich visual analytics (dashboards, reports, alerts);
- Demonstrate AI-driven features including LLM-powered agents, predictive analytics, and automated workflows using Domo’s Agent Catalyst, to trigger intelligent actions and drive real-time decision-making;
- Lead hands-on Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot engagements—driving successful outcomes through clear scope definition, agile execution, and tight management of success criteria and stakeholder expectations;
- Stay ahead of industry trends in data, cloud, and AI to position Domo competitively within customer reference architectures, while proactively providing feedback to internal product and strategy teams;
- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, effectively shifting between business and technical conversations with LOB stakeholders, IT leaders, and the C-suite;
- Research, scope, and contribute to high-quality responses to RFPs and RFIs, proactively sharing insights and reusable content across the broader team;
- Independently manage multiple high-value customer engagements, maintaining strong momentum and clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders;
- Act as a subject matter expert on vertical and technical use cases (e.g., AI & ML, embedded analytics, marketing intelligence), and mentor peers through enablement sessions, solution templates, and sales plays;
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing by developing and curating demo assets, industry-specific content, partner training materials, and onboarding resources for new team members;
- Represent Domo at customer and marketing events—presenting thought leadership, developing new content, and contributing to activities that drive pipeline growth and customer engagement.
- 5+ years in a pre-sales/Solution Consultant or Sales Engineer role, supporting SaaS solutions across corporate and enterprise clients;
- Skilled in value-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Force Management, Demo2Win);
- Proficient with BI platforms such as Domo, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI;
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data modeling, integration, and automation;
- Hands-on experience with APIs and tools like Postman;
- Familiar with AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, and prompt engineering for enhanced insights and automation;
- Working knowledge of database technologies (relational, columnar, NoSQL), e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB;
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery);
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills across multiple sales cycles;
- Agile and adaptable to evolving customer needs and priorities;
- Creative problem-solver with a strategic, growth-oriented mindset;
- Strong communicator and trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders;
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value;
- Passion for fast-paced environments, continuous learning, and winning deals.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Domo front-end app development;
- Familiar with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.);
- Subject matter expertise in domains like Marketing, Finance, Sales Ops, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain;
- Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OAuth2).
