About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will be instrumental in supporting students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing 1:1 support and small group assistance to SEN students.
• Working closely with the SENCO and teachers to implement tailored learning plans.
• Supporting students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning space that fosters confidence and independence.
• Collaborating with parents and external professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
This is a part-time, permanent role, offering the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who meets the following criteria:
• Experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting.
• A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to addressing diverse student needs.
