Responsibilities

About the Team

SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career — from TikTok integrated promotion tools to global music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.

Responsibilities:

• Identify key artists in the UK market as potential signings for SoundOn
• Negotiate & acquire licensing deals across both catalogue & frontline releases
• Monitor available research & analytics tools & develop a competitive network of key contacts for talent discovery & acquisiton
• Manage & administer business objectives including artist and label onboarding, new releases, and catalogue migration
• Analyze data to assess artist and track performance, identify market opportunities, and forecast business impact.
• Assist in artist songwriter sessions, producer & mixing choices & oversee recording processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful artist and label presence across digital platforms, fostering trusted relationships and artist development.
• Regularly attend showcases, gigs, and culturally relevant events across London, the UK and anywhere globally relevant
• Assist Head of A&R in co-signings and creative strategy around existing roster of artists
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in a relevant field within the UK recording music industry
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, including expertise in contracts evaluation and music legislations
• In-depth knowledge of all genres relevant to the UK music market, with focuses on Hip Hop, Dance, Alternatice & Pop
• Highly competitive local & global network of key industry contacts
