The Role:
We are keen to hire an Associate to join the Syndicate Team in London. The role will entail taking ownership of ABS Syndicate and supporting FIG syndicate, working closely with FIG Debt Capital Markets and the Securitised Markets Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for European ABS Syndicate throughout the deal execution process
- Conduct regular update calls with issuers to advise on market conditions and deal execution strategy
- Perform market analysis and produce daily publications on the European ABS and FIG DCM market, capturing both broader market developments and relevant pricing benchmarks
- Collaborate with colleagues in Securitisation and SMG Sales as well as Fixed Income Credit Sales & Trading to assist with new issuance activity and broader market colour and updates
- Work closely with FIG syndicate to support execution and advise issuers on bond new issuance
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience working with European ABS
- Experience in Syndicate would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite
- Experience in Financials DCM would also be a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships
- A team player who is capable of excelling in a highly collaborative environment
