Job Title: Analyst (Level 2) – Investment Banking
Location: London
Salary: £80,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
Our client W A fast-growing, London-based boutique investment advisory firm is hiring for an Analyst (Level 2) to support its expanding deal pipeline in technology and interactive entertainment. The firm advises high-growth companies on M&A and capital raising, with a strong focus on founder-led businesses in the digital space.
With a lean structure, Analysts are offered early exposure to senior leadership, live deals, and high-impact strategy work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career in a creative and entrepreneurial environment at the intersection of finance and innovation.
Position Overview: As an Analyst, you will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the firm’s day-to-day operations and strategic projects. You will gain hands-on experience in financial modelling, market research, and deal execution, while contributing to the firm's ongoing initiatives in the tech and gaming sectors. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and is eager to take on increasing responsibilities over the course of their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support live sell-side M&A and growth capital raising transactions
- Perform detailed financial modelling, company valuations, and market research
- Help prepare marketing materials, investment memoranda, and pitch presentations
- Contribute to deal origination through sector mapping and pipeline analysis
- Collaborate with Partners and clients across all stages of the deal lifecycle
- Bring insight into tech, gaming, and digital culture, helping shape unique perspectives on the market
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or data-heavy commercial role.
- Strong working knowledge of financial/accounting principles and valuation methodologies.
- Passion for technology is essential, interest or background in gaming or digital entertainment highly desirable.
- Highly proactive, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
