Overview:

This is an exciting hands-on opportunity well-suited to a versatile individual who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The role involves contributing to the growth of the Data and Analytics function, collaborating with technical teams to enhance and streamline data reporting processes. Key responsibilities include handling, visualising, and interpreting data, with a strong focus on automation and creative problem-solving. You'll partner with multiple departments, delivering insights that support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee BAU reporting, ensuring outputs are clear, actionable, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and enhance existing data processes, with a focus on automating BAU reporting and other recurring tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic initiatives and key business objectives.
  • Design and deliver engaging reports and dashboards that communicate complex data in a clear and meaningful way, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholder's to gather analytical requirements and embed insights into operational and strategic workflows.
  • Uphold high standards of data quality and integrity, implementing data governance practices and working with technical teams to address data-related issues.

Key Duties:

  • Comfortable operating as a generalist, with a proactive attitude toward taking on varied responsibilities and building systems from the ground up.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools, including Excel, with strong skills in pivot tables, data manipulation, and visualisation.
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and BigQuery.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal awareness; able to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and precision in work.
