Customer Service Representative – Housing Services Location: Southwark Borough Full-time | Temporary Contract | Salary: between £16.28- £19.11 per hour

About the Role:
As the first point of contact for tenants and residents, you'll provide friendly, efficient, and effective support across a range of housing services. Whether it’s helping someone report a repair, manage their rent account, or access support services, you'll ensure every customer feels heard and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming queries via phone, email, and in person
- Provide accurate information on housing services, tenancy agreements, repairs, and rent payments
- Log and track service requests, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions
- Liaise with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records using CRM systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm and empathetic approach, especially when dealing with sensitive or challenging situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in a customer service role (housing experience is a plus but not essential)
