Customer Service Representative – Housing Services Location: Southwark Borough Full-time | Temporary Contract | Salary: between £16.28- £19.11 per hour

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for tenants and residents, you'll provide friendly, efficient, and effective support across a range of housing services. Whether it’s helping someone report a repair, manage their rent account, or access support services, you'll ensure every customer feels heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming queries via phone, email, and in person
• Provide accurate information on housing services, tenancy agreements, repairs, and rent payments
• Log and track service requests, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions
• Liaise with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records using CRM systems

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm and empathetic approach, especially when dealing with sensitive or challenging situations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Experience in a customer service role (housing experience is a plus but not essential)
