Spain has witnessed a significant influx of immigrants seeking protection from war or poverty. These vulnerable individuals face challenges adapting to their new environment and often lack the necessary skills for integration. In response, Barcelona has established various initiatives to help immigrants build social networks, learn languages, and access essential resources.
Daily Life
Role
As a volunteer, you'll engage with 18 to 25-year-old refugees and immigrants at the local host center in an informal, supportive environment. Your role will be focused on promoting socialization through shared interests in cooking, eating, and English language learning. Your daily tasks will include:
