We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join the P&C Team at The Hoxton in London. Reporting into the People and Culture Partner, the role will be supporting the People team and the Operations teams, across all four The Hoxton, London Hotels, with a focus on The Hoxton, Holborn and The Hoxton, Shoreditch.

- Reporting to the People & Culture Partner, you will be the first point of contact for our teams when it comes to general questions & requests, fulfilling a key support role within the People team
- Manage the administration of all key touch points throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
- Act as our HRIS system expert- updating Fourth with starters, changes, leavers
- Oversee our communication platform management system, Connect.
- Play a big part in making sure our newbies have a great joining experience, including arranging paperwork, conducting pre-employment right-to-work checks, and setting up necessary tech/logins.
- Own and support our newbies onboarding journey, including:
- Prepare and manage employee contracts & RTW checks, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Organise and deliver weekly inductions alongside the team, presenting to new starters and ensuring they are prepared for their role
- Collaborate with P&C Partner to deliver monthly reports that will provide insight on workforce changes, DEI metrics and more.
- Ad hoc reporting related to the employee lifecycle, eg: RTW, Work Enniversary, Birthdays, and more
- Along with hiring managers, support talent attraction by advertising on our various platforms, and keeping our recruitment system up to date.
- Collaborate with Payroll Coordinator on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate pay and reducing number of pay defects
- Support the People & Culture team with employee relations matters, including handling conflicts, investigations, grievances, and other employee concerns.
- Support our Training Manager with related activities such as room set-ups, training coordination and bot/poster creation
- Support the administration and up-keep of our employee benefits
- Be a key member of all engagement activities, eg: People pop ups, Hox Heros, All Hands, Annual Survey, etc.
- Due to the nature of the role, visits to all four properties across London will be required
- Opportunity to participate in ad-hoc projects alongside the People & Culture team and other key stakeholders
- It's all about personality for us, someone who enjoys being helpful to others; that person who makes you feel confident they can answer your question (or tries to find the answer if they can’t) and who you'd want to stop and chat to
- 1-2 years previous HR experience would be great, but it's not a must-have for us - if you're eager to learn we can teach you what you need to know
