Job Title: Director, Solutions Delivery, Functional (EMEA & APAC)

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and operationally-minded Director to lead and scale our Functional Consulting practices. In this role, you will oversee a team of Functional Consultants (previously Product Delivery Managers) responsible for delivering large-scale, complex implementations of our Talent Intelligence Platform to enterprise customers. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on engagement, while directly leading or advising on engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and driving exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

Practice Ownership:

• Lead the development and implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools for Functional Consulting across the organisation.
• Own operational metrics, such as time-to-value, customer satisfaction, on-time completion of projects, and ensure team members meet or exceed utilisation targets and KPIs.
• Oversee the delivery of customer implementations, ensuring alignment with customer business challenges and use cases.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency through continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure consistent execution of strategic initiatives that support business growth and organisational expansion, including driving innovation in technology and process improvement.
  
  

People Leadership

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Functional Consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Oversee resource planning, capacity allocation, and utilisation to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Implement strategies for functional knowledge management across our Talent Intelligence Platform, practice development, and continuous enablement in alignment with broader Solution Delivery goals.
• Advocate for team members’ career growth and align their professional development with organisational needs and objectives.
  
  

Customer Focus

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer needs and evolving business challenges are met with tailored solutions.
• Act as a primary point of escalation for customer issues, providing timely resolution and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts, driving customer satisfaction and aligning Eightfold’s solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure functional excellence in all stages of the implementation lifecycle, from platform configuration to testing and go-live.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Solution Architects, to ensure seamless delivery of complex projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional services, project management, or consulting experience.
• A bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field.
• A proven track record in a similar leadership role focusing on enterprise SaaS implementation and project management.
• Experience with HRIS and Talent Intelligence solutions implementation strongly preferred.
• Experience with AI based technologies preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation, both internally and externally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
