Amazon is seeking a talented and driven Senior Program Manager to join our Global Procurement Sustainability (GPS) team.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with GPS teams (Community Impact, Environment, ESG Compliance & Standards, Social Responsibility, Strategic Engagement & Partnership, and Supplier Diversity & Inclusion) to develop and implement strategy. The GPS Business Strategy Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving forward-thinking strategies across our various sustainability initiatives. This dynamic position acts as an internal consultant, providing strategic guidance and support to multiple teams within GPS.

Key job responsibilities
- Provides expert consultation to individual GPS teams, helping them optimize their strategies, programs, and initiatives for maximum impact and efficiency
- Collaborates with the Strategy and Business Operations Senior Manager and the boarder GPS leadership to develop and refine overarching sustainability strategies that align with Amazon's broader business objectives and values
- Analyzes complex data and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth across all GPS focus areas
- Collaborates with the ESG Compliance and Standards team to utilize performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure the success of GPS initiatives, influence strategy, and drive continuous improvement
- Designs and leads strategic signature initiatives or projects that span multiple GPS teams, coordinating resources and stakeholders to achieve ambitious team goals
- Gathers inputs from GPS strategy leads for the GPO Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), reporting metrics and insights and advising on the content
- Partners with the GPS leadership team to gather key inputs to influence business participation and team engagement at key internal initiatives, including OP1/OP2 Planning, GPS All Employee Meetings, in-person team gatherings
- Provides change management, strategy development, and execution support to GPS leadership

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in supply chain
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program management and/or owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership, preferably in supply chain or procurement
- Demonstrated experience in community impact, supplier diversity, environment, or social responsibility initiatives or related fields
- Experience and responsibility for supporting performance of teams
- Demonstrated experience with problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and willingness to be vocally self-critical
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organization
- Master's degree
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
