You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational Accounts Payable processes, ensuring workloads are covered and tasks are completed to a high standard and assisting the Transaction Manager with managing a team of up to 6. You will be based in our London HQ office, where you will be required to work in the office 3-days a week. This is a 12month FTC role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work closely with the Transaction Manager to assist in improving the function, proactively identifying areas for improvement and highlighting any inefficiencies in systems and processes to create and operate a global centre of excellence.
  • Produce a monthly KPI pack for the Transaction manager to review
  • Ensure new joiners have the appropriate training and knowledge to perform their roles
  • Resolving Accounts payable queries with the team in an efficient and timely manner
  • Be a driving force with process improvements and the automation of the Accounts Payable HOP workstream
  • Be a positive role model for the team, supportive to all team members and an ambassador for Finance Operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent managerial skills
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of the AP process end to end
  • Experience of working in a global organisation
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently but can discern when to escalate a problem
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great at building and maintaining relationships across all areas of the business, capable of engaging effectively with operational stakeholders
  • Shows initiative through encouraging and initiating change and challenges the status quo
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Netsuite experience advantageous
  • Experience processing stock/grocery invoices and strong understanding of the process end to end preferred but not essential
