Our creative technology school in Kensington is seeking an Enthusiastic Media Studies Teacher to join our innovative and dynamic Creative Arts and Technology department. Location: Kensington Role: Media Studies Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver engaging and challenging Media Studies lessons at Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).

· Inspire students to develop a critical understanding of media texts, industries, and audiences.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Creative Arts and Technology department to share best practice and enhance the Media Studies curriculum.

· Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Media Studies.

· Facilitate practical media production projects and encourage creative expression.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

· Degree in Media Studies, Film Studies, Communication Studies, or a related field.

· Proven experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

· Strong subject knowledge of media theory, analysis, and production processes.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking about media.

· A commitment to fostering media literacy and practical media production skills.
