Our business & enterprise school in Hounslow is seeking a Passionate Economics Teacher to join our ambitious and career-focused Business and Economics department. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about inspiring students at Key Stage 4 and potentially A-Level Economics, fostering an understanding of economic principles and their real-world applications. Location: Hounslow Role: Economics Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons at Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).

· Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Business and Economics department to share best practice and enhance the Economics curriculum.

· Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics.

· Foster a classroom environment that encourages discussion of current economic affairs and their impact.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

· Degree in Economics or a related field.

· Strong subject knowledge of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles and current economic issues.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make economics relevant and engaging.

· A commitment to fostering analytical thinking and an understanding of the business world.
