What are we looking for?

We are looking for a trustee with at least three years experience in securing funding from trusts, foundations, corporate sponsors, and individual donors. The ideal candidate will have skills in bid writing, donor relations, and income diversification. Relevant experience includes at lead three Writing successful grant applications for charities or social enterprises. Developing fundraising strategies for small organisations. Building relationships with funders, philanthropists, or corporate sponsors. Knowledge of different income streams, including grants, sponsorships, and donor fundraising. Understanding of financial sustainability and fundraising best practices. As a trustee, you will work collaboratively with our board and leadership team to strengthen BridgingBeyond’s financial future.

By supporting individuals and organisations to engage constructively with difference, we help reverse the tide of dehumanisation and build stronger, more connected communities. To ensure the sustainability and growth of our impact, we are seeking a trustee with expertise in grant fundraising and income generation to guide our approach to securing funding. This is a strategic role, helping to shape our fundraising efforts rather than directly applying for grants. As a trustee, you will Advise on fundraising strategy, helping us identify and prioritise the most effective income streams. Guide efforts to secure funding from trusts, foundations, corporate sponsors, and individual donors. Support the development of relationships with funders and potential partners. Help us explore income diversification opportunities, such as donor engagement and sponsorship. By bringing your fundraising expertise to Bridging Beyond, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we can continue our vital work—helping people move beyond division and towards understanding.
