What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Social Media and Content Volunteer to help shape and grow Atypify’s online presence. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your strategic and creative skills to a women-led, neurodivergent-led social enterprise making a tangible difference in young people’s lives. About the role You’ll lead on planning, creating, and scheduling content across our core platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn), helping us Raise awareness of our free tech and wellbeing sessions Share stories from our community Highlight opportunities (volunteering, events, training) Support participant engagement and referrals You’ll be joining a small, values-driven team at a time of exciting growth. We’re open to your ideas and creativity—and your input will directly shape our digital voice and brand. We’re looking for someone with At least 3 years of experience in social media, digital communications, or content marketing Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone across platforms Visual content creation skills (ideally using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools) Understanding of social media strategy, scheduling, and analytics Confidence creating inclusive, accessible content Passion for community-driven work and social impact An interest in (or personal connection to) neurodivergence, disability inclusion, or youth empowerment Nice-to-haves Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, or short-form video storytelling Knowledge of content planning tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) Awareness of safeguarding and ethical storytelling practices Time commitment Flexible and remote. We estimate around 2–5 hours per week, depending on your availability. About Atypify Atypify (EnterTech Opportunities CIC) is a women-led, grassroots social enterprise supporting neurodivergent young women and non-binary people aged 14–25 through free creative tech and wellbeing sessions. We’re based in North London and driven by lived experience, community care, and inclusive innovation. Your expertise could help us reach new audiences, grow our impact, and celebrate the vibrant, creative community we’re building.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Volunteer to help us grow Atypify’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. You’ll play a key role in amplifying the voices of neurodivergent young people and spreading the word about our free tech and wellbeing sessions. This role is for you if you Enjoy creating content (posts, short videos, stories, etc.) Have an eye for design and are comfortable using Canva Can help plan, write, and schedule posts Are passionate about accessibility, inclusion, and community Have lived experience or a strong connection to neurodivergence (not essential, but welcomed) We’re especially keen to hear from people with experience or interest in Reels and TikToks Inclusive/accessible design Growing engagement and reach Storytelling for impact About Atypify Atypify (EnterTech Opportunities CIC) is a women-led social enterprise running free creative tech and wellbeing sessions for neurodivergent young women and non-binary people aged 14–25. Based at The Autism Hub in Haringey, we’re building a vibrant, supportive, and skills-based community—powered by lived experience and creativity. Time commitment Flexible—anything from 2 to 6 hours per week depending on your availability. Remote, with occasional visits to events or sessions if local (optional). You don’t need to be an expert—just bring your creativity, care, and enthusiasm. We’ll support you every step of the way.
