As the Marketing Operations Director, you will report to the CMO and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing operations, systems to connect the funnel end-to-end, and providing insight into Return on Marketing investment, Ideal Customer Profile, and effectiveness of our data, campaigns, and programs toward achieving our corporate objectives. The successful Marketing Operations Director brings proven success implementing and leading marketing operations for a high-growth B2B SaaS company (PLG experience is a plus). You are highly collaborative and accustomed to partnering cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, Business Development, Field, Web, and Growth Marketing peers and stakeholders to innovate, adopt best practices, and achieve mutual success. You have experience hiring, developing, and managing marketing operations and reporting team members. You keep on top of and adopt best practices approaches leveraging AI and other forms of automation to increase productivity, manage cost, and achieve efficiencies.

What You Will Be Doing
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing operations strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Process Design and Optimization: Streamline marketing and GTM workflows and processes to continually increase performance, efficiency and productivity.
- Technology Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage marketing technology stack to enhance campaign effectiveness and data analytics.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Data Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance, leveraging both internal and external data sources.
- Lead Management: Develop and implement lead management processes, including lead scoring, intent data, nurturing, and hand off to sales, to optimize conversion rates and maximize revenue generation.
- Sales Prospecting Days Management: Coordinate with sales teams to manage sales prospecting days, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and product development to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage marketing operations budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and mitigate potential risks.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing operations.
- 10 years of success in marketing operations or related roles, with proven leadership experience (having led a minimum of 2 direct reports), preferably for a high-growth B2B SaaS company selling into Enterprise and Large companies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- In-depth hands-on experience with marketing automation and analytics technology and platforms and tools, including Salesforce, Pardot (or one of the major CRMs like Marketo, Hubspot or Eloqua), chatbots (Drift or Qualified), 6Sense, Data vendors (ZoomInfo, Cognize), Ringlead, Business Intelligence and reporting systems, No code/low-code automation platform and AI agent and automation expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of driving results and delivering measurable business impact through marketing operations initiatives, leveraging full-funnel multi-touch attribution and account and contact level data strategies across the entire customer lifecycle.
- Experience supporting a multi-channel GTM strategy (partner referrals and influence, PLG/SAL, Direct Sales, BDRs) and net-new and customer expansion lead generation strategies.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
