Club Waiter – Part-time - The House of KOKO

Please note this is a beverage-led role focussing on cocktail and table service – We are offering part-time contracts with shifts covering Friday and Saturday evening shifts, between the hours 22:00 – 04:00, in line with the operational timings.

As a Club Waiter, you will excel in delivering exceptional service while actively engaging with our members and guests during member activations, ranging from live music, DJ sets and performance events. Your role will focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering an elevated experience that keeps guests coming back for more, all while contributing to the club’s commercial success.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional and engaging service, ensuring a lively atmosphere that resonates with the club’s energy.
  • Foster genuine connections with members and guests, creating personalized experiences that enhance their time at the venue.
  • Anticipate guest needs and be proactive in delivering tailored service, ensuring a seamless experience throughout their visit.
  • Collaborate closely with the bar team to ensure timely drink delivery and maintain high service standards during busy late-night hours.
  • Ensure all service areas are well-prepared and stocked, maintaining high operational standards for a smooth service flow.
  • Monitor floor activity and guest interactions, stepping in proactively to maintain high energy and resolve any challenges.
  • Uphold rigorous health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for all guests and staff.
  • Keep the workspace organised and presentable, ensuring all service items are readily available and in good condition.
  • Work closely with fellow waitstaff, bartenders, and management to foster a cohesive and energetic team dynamic.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a positive attitude during peak service times.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, sharing knowledge and encouraging a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Engage with team members to create a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and a shared commitment to outstanding service.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience, encouraging engagement through creative promotions and events.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies that improve service flow, guest satisfaction, and overall commercial performance.
  • Contribute to membership engagement activations, ensuring that each initiative resonates with our guests and enhances their club experience.

About You

  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a service role within a dynamic, late-night hospitality setting & ideally within a members club, is essential.
  • Charismatic and engaging, with the ability to connect effortlessly with guests and create a memorable atmosphere.
  • Strong understanding of service excellence and the importance of enhancing the guest experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various teams.
  • A proactive and energetic approach to service, thriving in an environment where excitement and engagement are key.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring all aspects of service are executed to the highest standard.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and high-profile events.
