Qualified Nursery Practitioner - #1698013

The Role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and nurturing team on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a recognised childcare qualification and experience in an early year setting. You'll play a key role in supporting children’s development through fun, creative, and stimulating learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Provide high-quality care, ensuring the individual needs of each child are met.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to individual development plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures.

About You:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• At least 6 months’ experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
• Warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
