Operations Analyst – Energy Infrastructure

Up to £33,000 plus benefits

MC Technical Recruitment is working with a fast-growing clean energy infrastructure business looking to recruit an Operations Analyst to join their forward-thinking team.

This role will give you full visibility across a portfolio of complex heat and energy networks, combining technical analysis with operational improvement and project delivery. It’s ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, high-impact environment.

As the Operations Analyst, key responsibilities will include:

• Lead performance analysis and improvement initiatives across multiple energy networks
• Manage and improve water quality, site visibility, and data monitoring systems
• Oversee corrective works and recommend system upgrades to improve operational reliability
• Coordinate with internal and external teams on specialist service delivery
• Monitor operational budgets and report against KPIs
• Support energy centre performance; including CHP, biomass, and gas boiler systems
• Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams
• Contribute to continual improvement of procedures and maintenance practices
• Other duties as required

To be considered, you should be:

• Qualified to degree-level in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
• Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure or district heating systems (e.g. CHP, gas boilers, biomass, energy centres)
• Strong data analysis skills and a passion for performance optimisation
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable
• NEBOSH, IOSH or similar H&S certification (or willingness to achieve)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across operational sites
