A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and time served Commercial Gas Engineer with one of our most respected clients. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be required to attend various jobs across London, including reactive & planned maintenance works to support their varied customer base. The successful applicant will be required to undertake maintenance tasks, call out response & repair of all types of gas heating enquiries.

The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis – 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. On site for 8.30am, off site by 4.30pm.

Requirements:

• A good understanding of General Building services
• Ability to efficiently maintain and repair plant/equipment
• Ability to carry out diagnostic, fault finding
• To effectively maintain PPM Paperwork
• To identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements
• To complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
• To understand & comply with policies and procedures
• To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
• To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
• To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience as a ‘Commercial Gas Engineer’ minimum 5 years’ experience
• Commercial Gas Safe
• Qualifications in the any of the following (or similar) COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW
• NVQ Plumbing
• Must be willing to work at height
• A good general experience working on site and in occupied premises
• IT literate
• Clear communicator both oral and written
• A customer focused approach
