Circa £100,000 - £120,000 with £20,000 - £40,000 bonus, (max 150k OTE)

My client are looking for a Managing Principal to join their team in the UK.

Working as a Managing Principal

As a Managing Principal, you are responsible for developing industry understanding of the focus area that you have been selected for. At both a strategic and operational level, you are the bridge between business and IT. You will act as a senior partner for C-suite level individuals. In the context of the relevant strategic challenge, you are the leader and have the proven ability to develop virtual teams, identify and develop business opportunities, drive the portfolio for your domain and develop the capabilities required to enhance the portfolio focus area that you are charged with.

You make strategic contributions in the design, implementation or improvements of our clients’ processes and procedures. In addition, you quickly identify risks and explain them in a simple way so that adequate measures can be taken.

The role involves you and your team working in partnership with our sales, delivery and finance departments, in which you will have multiple responsibilities.

As a Managing Principal, you must ensure that you understand and can transfer the technical aspects of cyber security, but also the required business knowledge (including financial acumen) and strong soft skills like documentation skills, critical thinking, communication and time management.

Key responsibilities as a Managing Principal:

• Realise a Revenue and an average gross margin for your stream as defined in the budget and personal targets.
• Build a future proof virtual team for your domain, which has the skills and certifications required by the market and our pipeline.
• Drive the business development of end-to-end Cyber programmes in conjunction with Sales and Consulting Teams.
• Proactively contribute to the growth of our global organisation.
• Assist in building and executing Account Based Marketing plans and Account Development strategy specifically focused on services engagement.
• Improve market recognition of UK services business and work with marketing, global product/service line where appropriate and external agencies (such as PR and event)
• Be seen as a trusted advisor for our clients’ C-suite.

What they expect from you:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, engineering or a related (business) field is highly preferred.
• Strong experience of working in the Financial Services & Banking sector and / or Public sectors.
• Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in information security.
• Relevant cyber security certifications (Certification in CISM or CSSP is highly preferred)
• Familiarity with digital marketing and experience in developing GTM strategies, creating value propositions based on client needs.
• Substantial industry expertise across chosen discipline, driving client strategy and execution
• You are curious, creative and think outside the box.
• Strong business development skills.
