Job Title: Dual Deputy Manager – Children's Home
Location: East Ham, London
Salary: £40,000 per annum + Paid Overtime + £60 per Sleep-In
Working Hours: Predominantly 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional flexibility as required)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dual Deputy Manager to join our children's home in East Ham. In this role, you will work closely with the Registered Manager, providing strong leadership and ensuring the highest standards of care for the young people in our home. You will be responsible for managing the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the staff team
- Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding guidelines
- Promote a positive, nurturing environment that meets the emotional and developmental needs of young people
- Support with recruitment, staff training, and performance management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Level 3 Residential Childcare Qualification (Essential)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (Desirable or willingness to work towards it)
- Experience in a senior role within a residential childcare setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A flexible and resilient approach to work
