Location: West Drayton Job Type: Full-time (Term-Time Only) Start Date: ASAP!Are you passionate about supporting autistic children to thrive in a nurturing, specialist environment?We are recruiting on behalf of an outstanding autism specialist school that is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Specialist to join their dynamic, child-centred team.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autismImplement individualised education and behaviour plansUse strategies such as PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, or sensory integration (training provided if needed)Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to ensure holistic supportCreate a safe, structured, and positive learning environmentRequirements:Experience working with children with autism (in school, care, or support settings)Calm, empathetic, and resilient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsA genuine passion for inclusive education and SENDesirable: Training in Autism-specific approaches (e.g., PECS, Makaton)* Graduates are encouraged to apply!
