Director of Advisory - Goodman Masson - #1705880

As a Director you will contribute to the development of the Fintech & Insurtech team. You will be accountable for ensuring the quality of work within their team, acts as a main communication point between the wider senior management and junior colleagues in their respective business area and, naturally, be responsible for the Investment Banking origination of Fintech & Insurtech clients in the UK and the execution of a broader range of strategic advisory mandates in the UK.

• Responsible for, oversees and leads on origination activity, including:
• Investment Banking origination (Equity Private Placement, M&A, Event driven Financing & Hedging) within the Fintech & Insurtech space
  
  
  

Required skills:

• Deep expertise as a Fintech & Insurtech Banker or Equity Private Placement specialist, or as an IB originator in Coverage
• Expert knowledge of specific investments, with the ability to work transversally and tactfully across a complex ecosystem, and originate across international markets. Successful track record in execution of Equity Private Placement, and / or M&A, and/or ECM transactions.
• A strong understanding of the Fintech & Insurtech sector as well as the broader Tech and Software space. This should include key drivers of innovation and disruption in these sectors (at product, legal and regulatory levels), in-depth understanding of product / tech architecture and business models.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts and provide specialist guidance and advice to others.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills, and an ability to work with individuals to set objectives and manage performance.
