About the client....
Accor is a new client for Zenith International as the result of a recent competitive pitch win. It is a ‘Power of One’ client, comprising the best talent and product offering from agencies across the Publicis Groupe, including creative, production, strategy, technology and media planning and buying. The win represents a significant commercial opportunity for the agency and will provide a platform for talent to learn, grow and progress their careers.
Accor is a leader in the international travel and hospitality industry with a significant footprint globally, most notably within Europe and North Africa, offering premium, mid-range and economy solutions for guests. They invest in all digital media across brand and performance and have clear and specific KPIs the agency will be measured against. In order to deliver these KPIs, we need the best talent to drive strategic innovation and operational excellence consistently.
About The Role....
This role will sit within the Europe and North Africa (ENA) region and will have accountability for delivery across 43 local markets in a centralised regional model.
The Campaign Manager is a key member of the team and works closely with the Operations Director.
The Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing the smooth delivery of all digital campaigns across global biddable platforms (search, social, programmatic), and support on key strategic operational projects to evolve the day-to-day operational ways of working.
To ensure the smooth delivery of all digital campaigns, the Campaign Manager will be responsible for daily communication across the Zenith International digital Hub teams, the different Publicis Groupe agencies and Accor clients, to ensure all Zenith International biddable buyers have all required information to proceed with campaign activation.
The Campaign Manager will oversee all digital biddable campaigns to ensure receipt of digital campaign briefs and Zenith International digital Hub teams deliver timely completion of tactical media plans, campaign setup, quality assurance checks, go-live confirmations, recurring campaign performance reports, and finance tasks.
Accor is a marquee Publicis Groupe Power of One account and a client with high expectations, demanding excellence, accuracy, timeliness, and first class thinking. Responsibilities
About the work....
- Digital Campaign Management
- Lead the Campaign Tracker and update the status and next steps of all digital campaigns
- Communicate directly with Zenith International digital Hub biddable buyers to receive updates on campaign status or outstanding tasks
- Manage Publicis Groupe local planning teams to ensure agreed SLAs are being respected through negotiation and education. Identify legitimate emergency campaign requests and work with biddable digital buyers to define suitable timings to deliver
- Timely delivery of end-to-end digital activation, including tactical media planning, campaign setup, QA, go-live confirmations, campaign reporting and finance
- Proactively communication with Publicis Groupe campaign planners to ensure timely delivery of briefs, creative assets, tactical media plan and go-live approvals from clients
- Review and report monthly on the timeliness and accuracy of the team’s delivery, identify areas of improvement in process, ways of working, or training to further improve daily campaign operations
- Lead internal digital campaign status calls with digital biddable buyers, identify delays and ensure clear steps are put in place by digital buyers
- Create process documentation and arrange trainings with Publicis Groupe agencies and Zenith International to ensure all team members involved in digital campaigns are working effectively, or to implement a new process
- Strategic Projects
- Support Operations Director and Digital Hub Lead to identify, build, and deploy operational improvements throughout the account
- Review current processes and ways of working, and identify improvements to support daily operations of digital campaigns (e.g. changes to existing technologies and solutions, campaign tracker, roles and responsibilities)
- Team
- Be the bridge between Zenith International digital buyers and Publicis Groupe planners
- Work closely with Operations Director and Digital Hub Lead; to support across all areas of business as required
- Take the lead on day-to-day campaign account management and proactively help to drive timely and accurate delivery of all biddable digital campaigns
- Proactively propose improved processes and ways of working
- Learn about the agency, how the business works and the various disciplines within it, as well as the broader media industry
- Prioritise training sessions and on the job learning to further develop core skills
What you need to succeed....
- Previous large Agency experience, ideally in a global role where you have professionally embraced ambiguity, challenged status quo and championed new propositions, processes and ways of working and built internal tracking documents and dashboards
- Solid experience within digital campaign / trafficking project management (or previous buying experience)
- A strong understanding of social, paid search, programmatic and digital trafficking process, ability to spotlight potential delays and challenges in the end-to-end campaign process (briefing, planning, build, trafficking, reporting)
- Demonstrated determination to achieve objectives
- Prioritisation, time management and attention to detail
- Negotiation skills (key as SLAs will be challenged constantly
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral skills ; be able to communicate clearly and present to senior and mid-management stakeholders as well as internal Teams
