We are looking for an experienced Cutover Manager to lead the cutover planning and execution for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all activities leading up to and during the go-live period, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and own the detailed cutover plan for the D365 F&O implementation.


  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (including IT, finance, operations, and external vendors) to align on cutover tasks, timings, and dependencies.


  • Ensure all pre-cutover and post-go-live activities are clearly defined, resourced, and scheduled.


  • Identify and manage cutover risks, issues, and contingency plans.


  • Lead cutover rehearsals and mock go-lives to test and refine the plan.


  • Manage communication across stakeholders and keep all parties informed during the cutover process.


  • Ensure data migration and system readiness activities are aligned with the cutover schedule.


  • Monitor progress during go-live and coordinate resolution of any critical issues.


  • Provide post-go-live support planning in collaboration with the support and hypercare teams.


Skills and Experience Required:



  • Proven experience as a Cutover Manager in D365 F&O or other ERP implementations.


  • Strong understanding of D365 Finance & Operations modules and business processes.


  • Extensive experience with end-to-end cutover planning and execution in complex environments.


  • Solid understanding of data migration, business readiness, and environment planning.


  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.


  • Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with global or multi-site D365 F&O rollouts.


  • Familiarity with integration points between D365 and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, payroll, reporting tools).


  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
