GSL Education London Branch is currently seeking a dedicated Exam Officer to join a supportive and inclusive coeducational secondary school in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and organised individual to step into a vital role within a thriving school environment.

As the Exam Officer, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of all internal and external examinations. The school is looking for a confident Exam Officer who can manage the full exam process and work closely with staff and examination boards.

We are looking for an Exam Officer who is enthusiastic, highly organised, and able to work well under pressure. If you have experience in this field and want to make a real difference in a secondary school setting, this Exam Officer role could be perfect for you!

• Organise and manage all internal and external exams.
• Liaise with exam boards and ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation.
• Manage entries, timetables, and seating plans for students.
• Ensure that the exam environment is calm and follows all regulations.
• Arrange invigilators and provide them with relevant training and instructions.
• Distribute and collect exam papers securely.
• Manage and process exam results and certificates.

• Previous experience working as an Exam Officer in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of people.
• Familiarity with exam software and data systems (e.g., SIMS) is an advantage.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and able to use initiative.
