School Nurse (RNC) – SEN SchoolLocation: BarkingPay: Scale 6 – Term-Time OnlyContract Type: Permanent – Full timeStart Date: ASAPAre you a qualified and compassionate School Nurse ready to make a difference in a specialist SEN school?Create Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive special school in Barking and Dagenham, currently seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a rewarding term-time position in a setting that caters to children and young people with Autism, PMLD, and SLD, aged 4-18.The school’s vision is grounded in providing a nurturing environment that allows every pupil to build confidence, develop emotional regulation, and find their voice through music. As part of the teaching team, you’ll have the chance to deliver a tailored, well-structured curriculum that supports every student's individual needs.About the Role:This is a key role within the school’s multidisciplinary team, supporting the medical, emotional, and physical wellbeing of pupils with a range of complex needs. The School Nurse will work closely with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered in line with the school’s values: Inspire, Empower, Achieve.3 points from their recent Ofsted report, we think you should know:

- Registered Children’s Nurse, ideally with a school nursing qualification and paediatric first aid certificate
- Proven experience working in paediatric or special needs settings
- Strong clinical, organisational, and communication skills
- Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding legislation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible, empathetic, and proactive in approach
- Permanent contract with term-time only working
- Competitive pay based on Scale 6
- Term-time hours: 8.30am to 4.00pm
