BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

As a (Senior) Marketing Manager within BCG’s Transform (TRF) Practice Area (PA), you will play a critical role in advancing our marketing efforts by leading high-impact PA marketing functions and initiatives across both internal and external channels. Partnering closely with the Marketing Director, PA leadership, the PA Management & Operations (M&O) teams, and global and local Marketing & Communications (M&C) teams, you will help bring the TRF marketing strategy to life.

In This Role, You Will

  • Own and drive the digital marketing and internal marketing agenda for the TRF PA.
  • Lead the planning and execution of client events and Seat at the Table (SATT) activities.
  • Manage elements of the marketing content pipeline—including publications and videos—collaborating with authors to develop compelling narratives, define storylines, and optimize formats.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing activities, and provide input to continually enhance reach, engagement, and impact.
  • Act as a thought partner to the Marketing Director, PA leadership, and other key stakeholders, contributing ideas and insights to shape and evolve the PA’s overall marketing strategy.

This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, ideal for a marketer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving visibility and engagement for a high-performing practice.

About BCG Transform

Our teams help clients design and execute complex transformation programs focused on sustainable, step-change improvements—with a relentless focus on outcomes, execution, and long-term impact.

You're Good At

  • Designing and executing digital marketing campaigns aligned with the PA’s strategic objectives.
  • Staying current on marketing trends and best practices to ensure high-quality, cutting-edge execution and innovation.
  • Developing and managing internal communications programs to increase awareness of the PA’s value proposition, offerings, and impact among internal stakeholders.
  • Planning and executing curated client events, SATTs, and network marketing efforts.
  • Building and managing content marketing campaigns that position BCG as a thought leader in the transformation space.
  • Measuring and communicating the impact of marketing efforts, providing actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights and performance analysis.
  • Making autonomous decisions within established guidelines, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of marketing and communications activities.
  • Self-starting with a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial drive, service mentality and ability to work both autonomously and in a multinational team
  • Independently leading more complex, broader sub-functional teams independently to execute marketing and communication projects.
  • Operating effectively in a matrix organization and fast-paced environment where ownership, accountability, and way forward may be unclear – you drive for clarity
  • Complex project management, driving on-time deliverables, anticipating and managing risks
  • Managing multiple senior stakeholders, building consensus, persuading and negotiating while being a strong team player across seniority levels – with a strong presence and maturity
  • Leveraging a comprehensive external network within the marketing community

You Bring

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a professional services or B2B environment.
  • Master’s degree preferred; a background in marketing, communications, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively manage and drive area of accountabilities, contributing to higher level agenda setting
  • Experience leading (virtual) teams or managing defined workstreams with varying levels of complexity; ability to coach and develop others.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and non-defined problems autonomously, with full business acumen
  • Excellent execution, organizational, and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • Highly professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Fluency in English
