WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We seek to appoint a reliable and motivated Junior IT Engineer to help support IT functions within the business.

You will be involved in various service desk, laptop/desktop, telephone, remote and client-facing tasks. This will include supporting and maintaining Microsoft Windows Laptops and Servers alongside other IT hardware and associated applications.

This is an entry-level role, although candidates should have good customer service skills and technical background. Training where required will be provided initially by the IT support team.

HE ROLE:

• Providing first-line support for IT systems, including remote working solutions
• Resolving technical issues promptly and professionally, escalating issues to senior IT colleagues when required.
• Responding to CyberSecurity alerts appropriately to safeguard the business
• Ownership of the IT service desk, ensuring all colleagues are well-supported. This includes but is not limited to network/internet connectivity, Microsoft 365/Teams, Teams telephony, and Anti-Virus/Vulnerability management systems.
• Collaborate with senior IT colleagues to assist with wider infrastructure upgrades and project implementation.
• Maintain IT department Cybersecurity offering by assisting with monitoring Cybersecurity and related technical training via our Learning Management System.
