About The Job

Role Purpose

The Business Solutions Manager works alongside Sr BSM to ensure an optimal IT landscape including systems, processes, and support to drive efficiencies, automation and innovation in line with Finance strategy and operational KPIs. Role requires operational engagement with local FLT direct reports to help identify technology hot spots and co-build the IT Roadmap and ensures the delivery of the portfolio as planned in terms of budget and timelines.

Role Focus

Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnering.

• Supporting Finance Management (FP&A, DBS and COGS) Teams in driving the Finance digital agenda alongside
• Assisting Sr. Business Solutions Manager to engage with Central/Regional teams in co-building the IT strategy, driving change, and continuously improving services.
• Ensuring excellent service levels to maintain stability and minimize disruption to Finance operations.
• Collaborating with service providers and support teams to meet service KPIs and maintain systems' stability (Resource allocation, cost plans, escalation process).
  
  

Innovation & Digitalisation

• Continuously assessing technology functional and technical fit and working closely with Digital teams to drive innovative ideas and concepts.
• Supporting the definition of the digitalisation agenda and co-building the strategy and plans with Finance and central teams.
  
  

Governance

• Participating in Functional committees to support the IT agenda and influence decisions.
• Assisting in managing vendors, covering SLA's and contracts.
  
  

About You

About you

• Knowledge and understanding of Finance processes in commercial context; Transactional Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, COGS, Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance.
• Good level of expertise on the IT Finance landscape; systems, tool, apps.
• Expertise digitalisation of Finance processes.
• Great business partnering skills, including influencing with impact, storytelling, value creation.
• Deep knowledge about financials, business case, ROIs, budgeting practices.
• Leadership skills to create impact beyond IT Support Functions, to deliver through others
• Both strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Agile & continuous improvement mindset.
  
  

Salary Bracket The salary on offer for this role is between £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus & benefits
