Manager, Global Operations Systems - #1716074

Meta is seeking a technical leader to join the Global Operations Systems (GOS) team which is integral to develop, execute and maintain a reliable, mature, and efficient infrastructure across Global Operations (GO). As a Manager on the GOS Workflows team, you will be responsible for managing a team of system program managers focused on bug management and reliability of the tools used by operations from teams across Global Operations. This role requires close collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of GOS vision for bug management and tools reliability. You will also be responsible for identifying and initiating new project opportunities or focus areas for the Workflows team, as well as attracting, building, managing, and developing a talented team. Utilizing strategic tools, systems, and data, you will help your team analyze trends, identify opportunities and engage product and engineering teams to streamline processes, define goals, and deliver measurable impact. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Global Operations tooling bug management and reliability, and it requires a leader who is not only experienced but also passionate about driving impactful change in a fast-paced environment.

Manager, Global Operations Systems Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Systems Program Managers to drive and execute the bug management and reliability vision for tools utilized by operations from teams across Global Operations.
• Build collaborative cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Operations Partnerships, among other teams.
• Participate in team and organization strategy to ensure all areas of the business are AI-focused, mature, reliable, efficient.
• Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas for the Workflows team.
• Utilize strategic tools, systems, and data to help the team analyze trends and deliver insights to define goals and improve processes.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering, or Technical Program Management.
• Demonstrated experience with systems and tooling supporting bug management and/or reliability/maturity functions.
• Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and working in a deadline-driven environment.
• People management experience.
• Experience building, optimizing and scaling programs and teams.
• Executive presence and effective communications skills.
• Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience.
• A proven team player adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building AI-led bug management workflows and reliability/maturity framework & measurement for tooling, infrastructure, and platforms.
• Technical fluency to understand, communicate and drive impact in highly technical and fast-moving problem spaces.
• Data Skills - Structured Query Language (SQL) proficiency.
