About the role:

In this placement, you'll support our Energy Team on a wide range of projects focused on power systems for data centres. You’ll gain hands-on experience in system design, analysis, and implementation, while working in a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills, learn from experienced professionals, and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and analysis of power systems and electrical networks for data centres
• Conduct simulations and modelling of power systems
• Develop technical documentation and reports on engineering activities
• Monitor performance and assist in reporting on operational power systems
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new engineering solutions
• Contribute to implementation and testing of power engineering projects
• Explore renewable energy solutions and battery storage integration
• Engage in regional projects across EMEA
• Use advanced Excel functions for analysis and project coordination
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of power systems and electrical networks
• Experience or interest in using engineering software
• Analytical mindset with a genuine passion for sustainable energy solutions
• A collaborative team player who’s also comfortable working independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
