The Role

* 3 month internship; June - Aug *

Based in London, reporting to the Director of Ecommerce and Marketing, UK & Europe, the Marketing & PR Intern will be responsible for developing and delivering best in class marketing campaigns for new season launches to maximise brand awareness and customer loyalty within the UK and Continental Europe Markets. In line with company objectives, you will support the continued growth plans for the brand, expanding the brand presence and driving performance.

You will work closely with Global Headquarters in New York, key local business functions and the wider Fast-Retailing Group to drive brand growth with marketing excellence across the UK and Europe.



Marketing & PR

  • Execute the omnichannel marketing & communications strategy
  • Support with ideation of Marketing activations to plan and deliver upcoming campaigns, events, and brand initiatives
  • Prepare and collate MK assets, manage campaigns rollout and cut-out imagery
  • Own and coordinate the brand activation calendar for the Fall season launch
  • Proofread and support with brand communications and material ensuring adhesion to the brand guidelines
  • Build collaborative relationships and excellent communication with key stakeholders including global marketing & PR, digital, retail operations, external stakeholders and retail partners;
  • Support the planning and execution of Retail marketing events in collaboration with Store managers
  • Continually monitor, analyze and report performance & results internally on key marketing initiatives
  • Maintain accuracy of the marketing budget tracker, ensuring invoices & POs are tracked and uploaded onto the procurement system, as well as accounted for on a daily basis
  • Day to day working with local PR agencies and Global PR team in New York to ensure strategic plans are executed and activities meet set KPI’s
  • Support with PR requests, managing samples and tracking products on loan


Influencers, stylists, KOLs

  • Support the execution of the monthly influencer/KOLs gifting campaign in partnership with our PR HQ team in NY and PR agency based in London.
  • Assist with influencer outreach, community building, and identifying new social opportunities
  • Manage monthly Stylist Newsletter to keep them informed and engaged with Theory
  • Support retail and merchandising teams with stylists 1-2-1 appointments to walk through new collections


Key Skills & Requirements:


  • Relevant degree or work placement experience
  • Previous exposure in a retail marketing role
  • Good understanding of the EU fashion retail market
  • Experience and contacts in the influencer/content creation space and the evolving opportunities across multiple social platforms
  • Demonstrate:
  • A great sense of organisation and attention to detail
  • Motivation, curiosity, team spirit and a desire to go the “extra-mile”
  • Creative mindset hungry for results and capable of bringing new ideas to the table
  • Proven measurement and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office pack (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English
