Operations Internal Communications Specialist, Ops Internal Comms - #1718640

Description

Amazon is seeking a communications professional to create employee-facing communications for European operations associates and their leaders. As part of our Operations Internal Communications team, you will contribute to the editorial calendar for the EU businesses and primarily for topics related to Operational goals, safety, policies, benefits and continuous improvement. This role combines storytelling expertise with strategic communication planning to engage and inform our diverse workforce.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans with clear, tailored narratives for Amazon's operations employee base
• Contribute to the EU editorial calendars, including ongoing adjustments based on data and trends
• Create and implement proactive communication campaigns across multiple channels
• Build collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across European Operations
• Manage and support crisis communications as needed and look around corners for risk
• Champion the employee experience in all communications strategies
• Contribute to process improvements through innovative solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful employee campaigns
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
• Experience in professional communications or public relations
• Excellent writing skills are a must, with the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Internal communications experience within a multi-national company
