My client is a leading structural focused engineering business with focuses on various buildings - Residential, commercial, theatre, hospital and even art! - And is looking for a Civil Engineer. Responsibilites:• Responsible for assisting the day to day running of structural projects.• Visiting sites, occasional drafting, preparing calculations and specifications, for checkingfabrication and reinforcement drawings as and when required.• Developing your design knowledge for British Standards and codes in concrete, steel,masonry and timber. In addition you will develop your skills in refurbishment.• Continuous dialogue with architects and design team members and sometimes clients.• Be aware of all billing aspects for the projects you are involved in via Coretime.• Occasionally may be asked to attend marketing activities• You will be responsible for some projects assigned and checked by your Associate• To take responsibility for your own development asking for assistance when required andproposing to attend training courses where appropriate.
