Geldards LLP is a leading regional law firm with offices in Cardiff, Derby, Nottingham and London. We are currently recruiting for a paralegal to join our Education team within our London Office.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for you to work alongside Solicitors to provide legal advice and guidance to commercial clients in an effective and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners with projects.
- Demonstrate a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience.
- Comply with the Firm’s internal processes on time recording, billing, credit control and compliance.
- Any other reasonable responsibilities commensurate with the grade and post.
- A law degree is highly desirable but not essential;
- Ability to work in a cross functional manner as is necessary to meet the Firms’ goals;
- To be well turned out and presentable in order to be client facing should the need arise (for example, collecting ID for copying and witnessing documents);
- Strong client care skills with the ability to project a professional image and deal confidently with clients;
- Excellent communication skills – dealing with telephone clients in a courteous, friendly, personable, helpful and professional manner;
- Self- motivated and able to use own initiative;
- Ability to manage large caseload and to work under pressure with high attention to detail
- Strong team player with the ability to use initiative and be self-motivated
- Ability to project a professional image and to deal confidently with clients
In return you will have the opportunity to develop your career within our high ranked Education Team based in our London office and will be paid a competitive salary (dependent on experience) as well as qualifying for other benefits such as a day of for your birthday and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- 35 hour working week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to a maximum of 30 days for additional years of service)
- A day off on your birthday each year (or closest working day)
