PMO Lead – Enterprise Transformation | Leading Reinsurance ClientLocation: [UK / Remote / Hybrid – specify if needed]Type: Permanent - Paying up to £95,000 DOE
We are representing a leading global reinsurance organisation embarking on a major enterprise transformation. As part of this journey, they are seeking a highly strategic and experienced PMO Lead to take ownership of programme-level governance, reporting, and delivery assurance across several high-profile initiatives.
This is a pivotal role within a complex, fast-moving programme. You will work closely with senior leadership, third-party system integrators, and delivery teams to ensure seamless coordination, governance, and reporting throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Important: Candidates must have prior experience in the Reinsurance or London Market Insurance sectors and demonstrable experience. These are essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management

Serve as the central coordination point, reporting directly to the Programme Sponsor.

Lead programme-level reporting across stakeholders, including internal PMO, third parties, and SIs.

Oversee third-party vendor relationships, including contract and SOW governance.

Define and enforce robust programme governance and assurance frameworks.

Ensure appropriate resource allocation to meet delivery milestones.

Prioritise projects in alignment with the strategic transformation roadmap.
PMO Operations

Maintain all programme documentation on SharePoint (including access for external partners), ensuring accuracy and availability.

Manage SharePoint access and permissions to maintain secure collaboration.

Drive risk and issue management processes, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

Maintain programme data integrity in reporting tools (e.g., Mondaycom).

Conduct quality assurance across project and programme reports to ensure alignment and consistency.

Deliver centralised reporting services tailored to executives, delivery teams, and stakeholders.

Manage scheduling and coordination of key governance meetings and forums.
About You
Essential
-
7+ years’ experience in programme/project management, with at least 3 years in a PMO or programme leadership role.

Experience overseeing complex transformation programmes involving multiple vendors and integrators.

Background in Reinsurance or the London Market insurance sector – this is mandatory.

Hands-on experience working with Workday in a programme or project delivery context.

Strong understanding of programme governance, delivery assurance, and reporting frameworks.

Proficiency in SharePoint, Mondaycom, and Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable
-
PMP, PgMP, or PMO-CP certification.

Experience with enterprise integration or post-merger transformation initiatives.

Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
