We are hiring a young professional to join AllianzGI’s Private Markets - Infrastructure platform. The position is based in London and will be offered as a 6-month Internship.

AllianzGI’s Infrastructure business counts with €53 billion in assets under management. As part of the investment team based in London, you will support market research and strategic positioning across different investment strategies. You will support the entire process of originating and creating product information. Main tasks include writing fund commentary, competitor research and using data to craft relevant investment stories.For all the above you will work with the investment teams, and the wider business, including colleagues in sales, client reporting, and marketing.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include providing support in the following areas:

• Strategic Research:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape dynamics for strategies solutions
• Analyze data and insights to develop strategic recommendations for product positioning and market entry
• Platform Positioning:
• Define and refine the value proposition for our infrastructure platform and selected strategies within it, ensuring alignment with market demands and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate our platform’s capabilities and benefits
• Presentation and Communication:
• Prepare high-impact presentations to team members and potential clients, highlighting the strategic direction, market opportunities, and competitive advantages of the infrastructure platform as well as specific strategies
• Develop compelling marketing materials, including, case studies, responses to client requests for information, due diligence questionnaires and presentations, to support sales efforts and thought leadership
• Client interaction tracking:
• Track client interactions and maintain detailed meeting notes to capture insights, feedback and opportunities for collaboration
• Organise and manage communication with clients to ensure timely and efficient follow up on action items as needed
• Use analytics tools to provide insights into portfolio key metrics
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Previous experience in strategic marketing, market research, or business development will be an advantage
• Analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Presentation and communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to engage diverse audiences
• Experience in database management and pivot table creation will be valued
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is essential for the successful candidate
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
