Part-Time Maintenance Engineer

Location: Central London Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Salary: £15 per hour (weekly pay and holiday pay accrued) Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team in Central London. This part-time role is ideal for individuals with a background in hotel or student accommodation maintenance, looking to contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment during morning hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of building systems.
• Reactive Repairs: Address maintenance issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and guest satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, reporting any significant issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the housekeeping and front desk teams to address maintenance requests efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience: Must have previous experience in a maintenance role within a hotel or student accommodation settings.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in general maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Certifications: Relevant qualifications in maintenance or engineering disciplines are advantageous.
