Randstad is partnering with a leading design and build firm in London, renowned for their exceptional commercial fit-out projects. Due to continued success and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Senior Pre-Construction Manager to join their thriving team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take the lead on the pre-construction phase of high-profile commercial interior projects across London. You will be instrumental in shaping project success from inception to contract signing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire pre-construction process for multiple complex commercial fit-out projects.
• Develop comprehensive, accurate, and competitive cost analyses (CSAs) and tender submissions.
• Work collaboratively with design, estimating, and project teams to ensure seamless coordination and cost alignment from client appointment.
• Source and analyse tender returns, ensuring competitive rates and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client pre-construction queries, providing detailed reports and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and negotiate Pre-Construction Service Agreements (PCSA) and Letters of Intent (LOI).
• Oversee design coordination, including liaison with landlord incumbent contractors and client direct suppliers.
• Develop robust pre-construction and construction programmes, highlighting key dates and procurement schedules.
• Identify and mitigate risks, developing value engineering proposals and viable alternatives.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing pre-construction team.
• Contribute to bid presentations and act as the expert on cost, technical design, and programme.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive proven experience as a Senior Pre-Construction Manager within the commercial Design & Build (D&B) fit-out sector.
• A strong understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to successful completion.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with a track record of successfully managing pre-construction budgets and complex tender processes.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and manage internal and external teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of building regulations, technical specifications, and contract types.
• Proficiency in relevant project management and estimating software.
