Fitout Site Manager - #1730915

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a retail shop fitout project in Ealing. This is a long-term freelance opportunity ideally suited to professionals with a proven track record in fast-paced retail environments.

Experience managing fitouts for Tesco, Lidl, Aldi or similar major supermarket chains is a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team

• Monitor health & safety and ensure full compliance with company and statutory requirements

• Maintain site diaries, RAMS, permits, and progress reports

• Ensure quality control and snagging procedures are enforced and completed

• Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact on-site

• Coordinate site logistics and oversee delivery schedules

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a Site Manager in commercial/retail fitouts

• Previous experience working on Tesco, Lidl, Aldi or similar supermarket projects highly desirable

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card preferred), and First Aid certifications

• Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively manage subcontractors
