We are looking for a Director to join the leadership of our growing IT Assurance team.
Location is flexible within Scotland, Newcastle or London.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Director within our IT Assurance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading our IT Assurance function. They will be responsible for developing strategy, managing high-level client relationships, delivering assurance engagements, and growing the practice.

The Role
We are looking to recruit a Director within our IT Assurance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading our IT Assurance function. They will be responsible for developing strategy, managing high-level client relationships, delivering assurance engagements, and growing the practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the delivery of IT audit, risk, and assurance engagements across a wide range of sectors
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, providing strategic advice on IT governance, cybersecurity, controls, and compliance
- Develop and execute the IT audit business strategy, including service line growth, resourcing, and innovation
- Drive new business development, including networking, and relationship management
- Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of IT professionals
- Collaborate with risk assurance, external audit, and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Stay ahead of regulatory and technological developments impacting IT risk and assurance
- CISA, CISSP, CA qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in IT Audit within a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong understanding of ITGCs, application controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, and ERP systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to help leadership motivate and inspire a high performing team
- Ambitious and strategic mindset focused on quality interactions with clients and a keenness to help grow the business
- Comfortable and experienced working with other internal teams to drive business development , including writing thought leadership and ensuring we bring the best of JC to best serve our clients
