IT Audit and Assurance Director - #1732068

We are looking for a Director to join the leadership of our growing IT Assurance team.

Location is flexible within Scotland, Newcastle or London.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Director within our IT Assurance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading our IT Assurance function. They will be responsible for developing strategy, managing high-level client relationships, delivering assurance engagements, and growing the practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of IT audit, risk, and assurance engagements across a wide range of sectors
• Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, providing strategic advice on IT governance, cybersecurity, controls, and compliance
• Develop and execute the IT audit business strategy, including service line growth, resourcing, and innovation
• Drive new business development, including networking, and relationship management
• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of IT professionals
• Collaborate with risk assurance, external audit, and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Stay ahead of regulatory and technological developments impacting IT risk and assurance
  
  

About You

• CISA, CISSP, CA qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience in IT Audit within a professional services or consulting environment
• Strong understanding of ITGCs, application controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, and ERP systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to help leadership motivate and inspire a high performing team
• Ambitious and strategic mindset focused on quality interactions with clients and a keenness to help grow the business
• Comfortable and experienced working with other internal teams to drive business development , including writing thought leadership and ensuring we bring the best of JC to best serve our clients
